Shared Branching Update

Effective July 2, 2026, members will no longer be able to access their accounts through the Shared Branching Network at Directions Credit Union locations.

However, you still have many convenient ways to access your account and complete transactions. The Shared Branching Network includes over 5,000 credit union locations nationwide where you can perform transactions like deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.

IDCheck

Co-Op Shared Branching locations will be rolling out an enhanced security feature called IDCheck to help protect your accounts and personal information. This additional step will be required only for members visiting an out-of-state participating Shared Branch.

What is IDCheck?
It’s a simple, secure identity verification step that makes your out-of-state Shared Branch visits safer and faster.

What to Expect:

  • Set up IDCheck once on your smartphone.
  • Receive a unique two-factor authentication code.
  • Show the code to the teller to complete your transaction.
